These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the RiskDetected mobile application and its connected analysis, reporting, company-management, subscription, professional-progress, notification and support services (together, the “Service”).

By creating an account, signing in, uploading content, requesting an analysis or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. Mandatory statutory rights that cannot lawfully be limited remain unaffected.

1. Purpose of the Service

RiskDetected provides AI-assisted workplace-safety review tools. The Service can analyse photographs, organise visible findings, suggest controls, prioritise risks using supported assessment methods, generate PDF/XLSX reports, store company and report records and provide professional-progress features.

New analyses are started from photographs selected from the library or taken with the camera. Text inputs created in earlier app versions may continue to be processed only for historical records, export, deletion and legally required retention.

2. No professional, regulatory or emergency determination

RiskDetected is a decision-support tool. It does not provide an official inspection, engineering certificate, legal opinion, medical assessment, expert report or guarantee of compliance with any law, regulation or standard. It does not replace a competent safety professional, engineer, occupational physician, lawyer, regulator, site inspection, measurement or testing.

AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated or affected by image quality, angle, lighting, missing context, hidden conditions and model limitations. A hazard that is absent from an output may still exist.

You must have a competent person verify the actual workplace, each finding, risk score, recommendation and report before relying on it. In a serious, imminent or life-threatening situation, stop work where appropriate, follow the site emergency process and contact the relevant qualified person or authority. Do not rely on the Service alone.

3. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate information, use an account you are authorised to use and protect your credentials and devices. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.

Do not impersonate another person, use another person’s account without permission or submit misleading identity or contact information. Notify RiskDetected through in-app support or [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Content you submit

You may submit only photographs, text, annotations, company details, logos, report information and other content that you are authorised to collect, use, analyse, store and share.

Workplace content may include employees, visitors, faces, personal protective equipment, health or injury information, vehicle plates, company names, logos, signs, private premises, trade secrets or other confidential or sensitive information. Before submitting it, you are responsible for providing required notices and obtaining all permissions, consents, workplace-owner approvals and other lawful authority.

Do not submit unnecessary personal data, credentials, payment-card information, identity documents, children’s information, unlawful surveillance material, confidential information that you are not authorised to process or content that infringes another person’s rights.

5. Licence to process submitted content

You retain the rights you lawfully hold in your submitted content. You grant RiskDetected a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, reproduce, transform, transmit and otherwise process that content only as reasonably necessary to:

  • provide the requested analysis and reports;
  • store and display account, company and report records;
  • secure, troubleshoot and maintain the Service;
  • provide support and perform user-requested deletion or export; and
  • comply with legal obligations.

This licence ends when the relevant content is deleted, except for lawful retention, security, dispute and backup requirements described in the Privacy Policy.

6. AI outputs and user edits

AI findings, classifications, scores, controls and summaries are suggestions, not verified facts. You must check them against actual site conditions and applicable requirements. You may edit supported findings before generating later reports; the report remains your responsibility.

You must not present an AI output as a binding professional determination, official evidence, regulatory approval or guaranteed compliance result.

7. Reports, risk tables and company information

The Service may generate standard reports, risk-assessment tables, PDF and Excel files using submitted content and AI output. You are responsible for checking accuracy, completeness, suitability, confidentiality and authority to share each output before using it internally or externally.

Company names, logos, addresses, contacts, departments, responsible persons and similar fields may appear in reports and archives. You must have authority to use that information.

8. Free, Plus, Pro and trial access

RiskDetected may offer Free, Plus and Pro access with different analysis, photo, report, company, storage and feature limits. The current product, price, billing period, trial, renewal and entitlement information displayed in the App Store purchase flow controls the purchase.

Professional Development Points (MDP), in-app titles, badges and competency maps are product motivation indicators only. They are not official certificates, licences, seniority records or professional qualifications.

RiskDetected may reasonably adjust future quotas or feature availability for security, abuse prevention, technical, App Store or product reasons. Changes do not remove mandatory rights or entitlements already purchased for the applicable paid period.

9. Apple subscriptions

Digital subscriptions are purchased through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Apple processes payment and manages billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds under the terms shown in the App Store.

An auto-renewable subscription renews unless it is cancelled through the Apple Account subscription settings within the period stated by Apple. Trial duration, post-trial price and renewal terms are shown before purchase. You can manage or cancel a subscription in Apple Account settings and restore eligible purchases from the app.

Deleting a RiskDetected account does not automatically cancel a subscription managed by Apple. Cancellation or refund rights provided by Apple or mandatory consumer law remain unaffected.

10. Notifications

If you grant permission, the Service may send notifications about analysis or report completion, account status, trial reminders and professional-progress events. Delivery is not guaranteed and may be affected by device settings, network conditions or Apple Push Notification service.

You can change notification preferences in the app and in iOS Settings. Marketing messages are not enabled merely because you accept these Terms.

11. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the Service for unlawful surveillance, face recognition, identity tracing or profiling of people;
  • monitor employees, visitors, customers or third parties unlawfully;
  • collect competitor, employer, customer or site information without authority;
  • process trade secrets, restricted locations or confidential material without permission;
  • misrepresent AI output as a professional or official determination;
  • bypass quotas, subscriptions, paywalls, authentication, security controls or row-level access policies;
  • reverse engineer the Service except where mandatory law expressly permits it;
  • upload malware, send spam, automate abusive traffic or interfere with the operation of the Service; or
  • infringe intellectual-property, privacy, confidentiality or other rights.

12. Intellectual property

RiskDetected’s name, logo, software, interface, designs, system text, report templates, data structures and other Service elements are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no ownership right is transferred to you.

13. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party infrastructure such as Supabase, AI providers, Apple App Store, RevenueCat, Apple and Google sign-in services, Apple Push Notification service and email-delivery providers. Their separate terms and privacy notices may apply to their services. RiskDetected remains responsible for its own obligations and does not control interruptions or changes made by those providers.

14. Availability and changes

RiskDetected may maintain, improve, replace, suspend or discontinue parts of the Service where reasonably necessary for security, legal, operational or product reasons. The Service is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted, error-free or available in every country, device or network condition.

15. Restriction, suspension and termination

RiskDetected may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users or the Service, investigate misuse, enforce these Terms or comply with law. Where appropriate and legally required, notice and an opportunity to remedy will be provided.

You may stop using the Service at any time. You can delete your RiskDetected account in the app through Profile > Delete Account. Account deletion is separate from Apple subscription cancellation.

16. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by mandatory law, the Service and its outputs are provided on an “as available” basis without a promise that every hazard will be detected or that any output is complete, accurate, fit for a particular site or compliant with a specific legal regime.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a guarantee, warranty, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

17. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by mandatory law, RiskDetected is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, reputation, production, data or opportunity, third-party claims, or workplace consequences arising from unverified output or unauthorised content.

This section does not limit liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is prohibited, or any other liability and consumer right that cannot lawfully be limited.

18. Privacy and data processing

The Privacy Policy and AI and Data Processing Notice explain how personal information and submitted content are processed. Where the app requests an explicit consent, that consent is separate from acceptance of these Terms and can be withdrawn as described in the relevant notice.

19. Changes to these Terms

RiskDetected may update these Terms for product, legal, security or App Store changes. Material changes will be communicated where required and may require new acceptance. The document set, version and acceptance time are recorded for auditability.

20. Governing law and mandatory local rights

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. This choice does not deprive a consumer of mandatory protections or forums available under the law of the country in which the consumer habitually resides.

Subject to those mandatory rights, disputes may be brought before the competent consumer arbitration committee, consumer court or other court identified by applicable law.

Account deletion is completed through Profile > Delete Account and does not require an email, support request or website request.
